Tierney Joint Critique Sessions

TIERNEY FELLOWSHIP MEET AT MARKET PHOTO WORKSHOP IN JOHANNESBURG

On 19 and 20 October 2017/18 Tierney Fellow from Michaelis and alumnus, CJ Chandler  attended the Tierney Fellowship workshops in Johannesburg at the Market Photo Workshops (MPW) with his mentor, where CJ (UCT) Akona Kenqu (Wits) and Tshepiso Mazibuko (MPW) presented their work.  The workshops comprised of crit sessions with mentors from within their respective institutions and feedback from guests including past fellows Sipho Gongxeka, Tsepo Gumbi, Nocebo Bucibo and Mack Magagane and artists and academics including Buyaphi Mdledl, Mikhael Subotzky David Goldblatt, Candice Jansen and Gideon Mendel. CJ is mentored by Associate Professors Jean Brundrit and Svea Josephy.
