Michaelis Alumna Mimi Cherono Ng'ok appears in today’s The Guardian talking about her best shot. Mimi Cherono Ng’ok is a Kenyan photographer who lives and works in Nairobi. She attended the University of Cape Town graduating in 2006 and has had a number of exhibitions and projects since then. In 2008 she produced a solo exhibition, I am Home, on African immigrants living in South Africa. Her images were showcased in Aperture’s Platform Africa. She has had work on a number of significant international exhibitions including DAKARTs, Senegal and the Bamako Recontres biennale in Mali.
