Michaelis alumnus Simphiwe Ndzube exhibits in Shanghai
The third solo exhibition of 2015 Michaelis graduate Simphiwe Ndzube has opened in Shanghai.
After graduating with the Michaelis and Simon Gerson Prizes, Ndzube received the Tollman Award in 2016 for Visual Arts and has been living in Los Angeles for the last two years, exhibiting with the Nicodim Gallery. His artwork is included in a number of South African private and public collections including the University of Cape Town Works of Art Collection, the Iziko South African National Gallery, Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, the Rupert Museum and A4 Foundation, as well as the Rubell family collection in Miami.
Waiting for Mulungu will be exhibited at CC Foundation in Shanghai from 2 June – 12 August 2018.
