Michaelis graduate Bronwyn Katz exhibits in Paris

An exhibition by Michaelis graduate Bronwyn Katz, has opened at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.  A Silent Line, Lives Here curated by Marie-Ann Yemsi is the result of a 6 month sponsored SAM Arts Project residency at the Cité International des Arts in Paris and will be on show from from 22 June to 09 September 2018.

 

Katz completed a BAFA in 2015 receiving the Simon Gerson prize for a distinctive body of work.  She has exhibited extensively since graduating locally and internationally including Dak’Art 2016 in Senegal and Tell Freedom at the Kunsthale Kade, Netherlands 2017-18.

She is represented by Blank Projects and a founding member of the iQhiya collective who have performed in South Africa and abroad, including Documenta 14 in Athens and Kassel.
