New Media students visited Milestone Recording Studio
The second year New Media class recently visited the Milestone recording studio as part of their Sound Art project. The visit was aimed to widen the New Media student's interests in sound recording and sound art, and to give them a behind the scenes look at how professional studios work.
A big thank you to Warrick Sony and Murray Anderson for allowing the students to tour the various recording studios, along with demonstrating the sound recording machinery and software and also explaining the design and specific requirements of running a successful recording studio.
