Michaelis graduate, artist and current director of the school, Associate Professor Berni Searle was one of eight artists featured at Frieze London this October.   Social Work consisted of solo presentations of artwork from the 1980s and ‘90s by women who challenged the dominant values of the time.  Searle describes the work exhibited as “concerned with notions of identity as mediated by race, class and gender in processes of social change”.
