Photo Students visit Pieter Hugo’s studio

On April 3 students specialising in Photography, including 3rd, 4th and MA students, were invited to Pieter Hugo’s studio in Cape Town. There they met Pieter and specialist printer Lauren Smit, from Dog Eared Editions. Pieter spoke about his practice, the importance of research, his latest projects, and the challenges and opportunities that being a professional artist brings. Students also were able to ask him questions about his life as an artist and to show him a sample of their work.
