Biography  

Zintle Mlomo is a Master of Arts student at the University of Cape Town, specialising in Psychological Research. She is currently a research assistant at the Centre for Social Science Research, working on the Helping Empower Young Parents Brought up in Adversity with their Babies and Young children (HEY BABY) project in the Adolescent Accelerators Research Hub (AARHub), where she is involved in quantitative research to explore sexual reproductive health stigma among adolescent girls and mothers living with HIV. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Science from UCT. Her areas of research are focused on young adults’ mental health (e.g., common mental disorders), empathy and research methodology.
