Volume 15 Number 1 (2016) of the International Journal of Arts and Humanities in Higher Education has just been published. 

Co-edited by John Higgins, Arderne Chair of Literature, it also features work from Victoria Collis-Buthelezi  and Jane Bennett in the department,  and a wide range of contributors from across the country. 

Titled ‘State of Urgency’, William Faulkner’s appalled recognition - ‘The past is never dead.  It’s not even past.’ - sets the scene for many of the animating concerns of the Special Issue.
