A research paper of 8000 - 10000 words on an approved topic in the field of English Studies is required and must be submitted at the end of October in the current year of registration.

The Essay Topic Form which can be downloaded from the Honours Vula Site must be completed and submitted a week after the mid-term break in April. 

The Honours research project is undertaken on a topic of your choice (established in dialogue with the postgraduate convenors and potential supervisors) under individual supervision by a member of staff.

Assessment

The Research Project counts 20% of the final Honours mark.
