Public event: Shakespeare and Social Justice panel discussion and book launch, 18 May 2019

The final event of the Shakespeare and Social Justice conference at the Fugard this week takes the form of a panel discussion about new books in the field. Chris Thurman of Wits will chair a conversation between panellists, Katherine Hennessey, Wendy Beth Hyman, Alexa Alice Joubin, Ayanna Thompson and Sandra Young.

This event doubles as the Cape Town launch of Sandra Young's new book, Shakespeare in the Global South: Stories of Oceans Crossed in Contemporary Adaptation.
