Photography 2 field work

Visiting lecturer form Johannesburg’s Market Photo Workshops, Mack Magagane and Michaelis staff Sitaara Stodel and Svea Josephy, took the second year photography students on a walking photography tour of the city this week, looking for inspiration for Mack’s “Invisible Cities” project. 

The walk took students past and into the public spaces, streets, buildings and transport hubs, taxi ranks, station and bus terminus, past shops, informal traders, commuters, tourists and other people passing through or living in the city. We look forward to the reflections the second years produce about our city.
