Annual Photography field trip

Third and fourth year photography students have just returned from their annual field trip with lecturers Jean Brundrit and Svea Josephy. While on the field trip students were taught a variety of lighting techniques, including fill in-flash, low light photography and how to balance interiors with exteriors using lighting. We were also privileged to have a professional lighting workshop offered by BRONCOLOR and Cine Photo Tools.  Students also participated in early morning shoots, a "picture-in-a-picture" project, learned how to shoot Polaroid and took photographs while on a boat ride. Students and staff had a fabulous experience in a beautiful environment with lots of discussions and laughter. Thanks to UCT for supporting this valuable learning experience.
