The UCT English Language Centre delivers year-round courses to an international community of students who have chosen to expand their cultural, academic and professional horizons by learning English with the top University in Africa.

Learning English as a Foreign Language

The UCT English Language Centre offers year-round courses in General English at all levels, from beginner to advanced; Business English; Language Excursions; and Exam Preparation courses for IELTS and Cambridge ESOL Exams.

You may start classes on any Monday and book for as many weeks as you need. Students may choose to attend 20, 25 or 30 lessons per week in a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment.
