The Centre for African Studies in association with South African Jazz Cultures and the Archive invites you to a celebration of the musical legacy of Louis Moholo-Moholo. A multi-award-winner, Louis Moholo- Moholo has been at the forefront of the avant-garde movement in Jazz, also known as ‘free jazz’. He continues to be active and is in high demand for gigs and recording sessions with musicians across the globe.

The Louis Moholo-Moholo Legacy Project features an eclectic programme that includes a virtual exhibition, symposium and a musical concert featuring Louis Moholo-Moholo and a UCT student orchestra.
