DARU celebrates Africa Day
Large posters illustrated the work done in the three areas of DARU research on the continent. Research findings from the African Legislatures Project, the Afrobarometer and the Aids and Governance Research Project and a large selection of working papers were available for visitors to look at and take away.
The stand was staffed by Project Managers Liz Welsh and Per Strand and masters students Dadisai Taderera and Danga Mughogho. Under the circumstances, we had considerable success, judging by the fact that we had to limit handouts of CSSR working papers to two per person, and had a number of conversations with undergraduates interested in doing thesis topics in DARU.
