FF2010: International Year of Biodiversity

The 2010 Fynbos Forum Conference to be held in Citrusdal from 3 to 6 August celebrates the international year of biodiversity. The conference brings together all researchers working in fynbos to discuss invasive alien biology, resource utilization, education and outreach and environmental management strategies. Two of Beatrice Conradie's papers have been accepted for the conference: 'Are we creating false expectations about the economic potential of wildflower harvesting? – The case of landless contractors on the Agulhas Plain' with H. Knoesen, and 'Conservation begins after breakfast and other landholder perspectives on threats to survival on the Agulhas Plain'
