Dr. Hlokoma Mangqalaza is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Centre for Social Science Research at the University of Cape Town. She holds a PhD in Public Development Management from Stellenbosch University, an MTech in Comparative Local Development from Trento University (Italy) and Tshwane University of Technology and a BTech in Economic Management Analysis from the Tshwane University of Technology.  She has experience in qualitative research with young people and healthcare workers in underdeveloped areas. Her areas of research focus on young people living with HIV, education and the application of various qualitative data collection methods in research.
