Barbara Boswell from the Department of English recently hosted Elleke Boehmer, Professor of World Literatures in English at the University of Oxford, as she launched her second short story collection To the Volcano and  Other Stories, at the Book Lounge in Cape Town. The collection is part of Boehmer’s “ Imaginaries of the South” Project, which examines the role of story in creating connections between regions of the global south.
