Professor Tredoux receives award from Université de Toulouse
Professor Colin Tredoux has been awarded a Chaire d'Attractivité from the Université de Toulouse, in France, as part of a national program in France to attract top international researchers into visiting positions in French universities, and to bolster French science. A limited number of these chairs is awarded annually in France.
Professor Tredoux will spend 1 year in Toulouse, spread out over the next four years, on this joint program. The theme of the research program he will head is the integration of cognitive and affective explanations of person recognition and identification biases in witnesses.
