The research project by a group of third-year Undergraduate Students from our Applied Cognitive Science course was awarded the first prize in the annual American Psychology-Law Society’s Best Undergraduate Paper Award. The paper entitled "Face Recognition: Comparing identification performance in Single- and Multiple-target conditions” is the first known direct comparison of the two conditions. It sheds light on the difference in the identification process and accuracy rates and informs eyewitness studies of crimes involving multiple perpetrators.
