We are very proud of Profs. Floretta Boonzaier and Cathy Ward, who were respectively a finalist and winner of the Department of Science and Innovation's 2023 South African Women in Science Awards, for their "contributions to building South Africa's scientific and research knowledge base".  Congratulations to our accomplished women professors!
