Biography  

Chuma Busakhwe is a Research Analyst for the Accelerate Hub, where she has been a team member since 2022. In her role, she contributes to the implementation, data collection, analysis, and article writing of the Screen & Support Package in Zambia. Prior to joining the Accelerate Hub, Chuma worked as a Youth Researcher at the Institute of Life Course Health Research, Stellenbosch University. Chuma holds a BA degree in Psychology & Sociology (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of the Western Cape. She pursued further studies and obtained her Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Psychology from the University of Cape Town in 2021. In 2023, she completed her Masters in Psychological Research from the University of Cape Town. Chuma's research interests include  youth mental health, early motherhood, HIV, and Gender-Based Violence.
