Biography
Dineo Sekgobela is a graduate student and an aspiring social scientist currently completing their Honours in Sociology at the University of Cape Town. She holds a BSoSci in Sociology from UCT and a BSoSci in Political Science from the University of the Free State. She is currently serving as a research assistant for the Adolescent Accelerators Research Hub at the Centre for Social Science Research, primarily focused on the Global Fund collaborative project investigating adolescent girls and young women living with HIV/AIDS. She previously served as a research assistant with the University of Cambridge. Her hands-on experience coupled with the growing knowledge gained during her studies, including census fieldwork and research assistance has equipped her with the ability to understand practical research and the ability to understand participants.
