Biography
Bronwen is a Research Assistant on the Supporting Wellness through Integrated Family Training (SWIFT) study. She holds a Master of Arts in Psychology (Research) from Stellenbosch University. She is passionate about sexual and reproductive health and rights, with a specific focus on attitudes towards and experiences of menstruation. Since joining the Centre for Social Science Research Unit and SWIFT study, her interests have expanded to include caregivers’ preparedness to support and equip their teenagers for menarche. Previously, she worked as an Online Data Manager for a study on infertility at Stellenbosch University and as a contract lecturer, tutorial convenor, and tutor in the Psychology Department at the University of Cape Town.
