APC’s Niklas Zimmer appointed to manage digitisation and digital services at UCT Libraries

APC Associate Research Fellow Niklas Zimmer has been appointed as Manager: Digitisation and Digital Services at UCT Libraries. He brings his expertise of digital archiving from the Centre for Popular Memory to the position, and is responsible for enabling online access to the digital scholarship of UCT. 

Since recently meeting Tracey Randle (resident historian at Museum van de Caab, Solms Delta) at an APC workshop, he has been involved in negotiations around lodging the Cape Music Project, initiated by the late Alex van Heerden, with UCT Libraries Special Collections.
