Lucie C

Professor Cluver has long been a valued collaborator and leader in evidence-based research focused on the wellbeing of children and adolescents in South Africa and across sub-Saharan Africa. Her interdisciplinary work, most notably through the UKRI GCRF Accelerating Achievement for Africa’s Adolescents Hub and the Global Parenting Initiative, has helped transform policies and practices that protect vulnerable children and strengthen families globally.

Cluver’s close partnerships with CSSR-affiliated researchers, including Associate Professor Elona Toska and Professor Cathy Ward, have contributed to impactful, socially responsive research recognised by multiple national and international awards.

We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved honour and grateful for Professor Cluver’s continued collaboration and commitment to child welfare and global public health.
