New directions in measuring combination HIV prevention; A think tank series to align measurement of HIV prevention to the Global AIDS Strategy 2021 – 2026
”This is the report of a think tank series of webinars that were organized by the Global HIV Prevention Coalition Secretariat in response to demands from partners for a new and more effective way of measuring combination HIV prevention. Organized between May and June 2022, the series was shaped around 5 sessions that examined defining risk, measuring coverage of prevention programmes, outcomes and impact, and innovative measurement approaches. The series results are supposed to inform Global AIDS Monitoring guidance, measurement frameworks of the Global Fund, and potentially other surveys such as the DHS, PHIA, IBBS. In each session, a proposition was presented looking at innovative dimensions of change.”
