Hedley Twidle participated in the Bergen Literary Festival in Norway
Hedley Twidle was invited recently to take part in the Bergen Literary Festival in Norway, where he joined other South African writers Njabulo Ndebele, Jonny Steinberg and Koleka Putuma. He delivered a lecture on post-apartheid literary culture, interviewed Jonny Steinberg about his recent book One Day in Bethlehem, and also participated in a critics' panel discussing the work of various writers attending the festival, including Mary Ruefle's book of poetry lectures Madness, Rack and Honey and Raja Shehadeh's memoir Palestinian Walks.
