Donation of LEGO by Care for Education

Care for Education is a non-profit organization (NPO) which provides charity resources, through the LEGO Foundation to children and schools-in-need, as well as providing effective training to the teachers to maximize the benefits of the resources. Intshayelelo and Ummangaliso Primary received six charity boxes each. The handover of these boxes took place at each school on 16 August 2016. Teachers from each school have been selected to attend the training, which will be provided by Care for Education on 1 September at Athlone Community Centre. Mellisa Wildschutt (health and community coordinator) and Tami Mahlati from the School Development Unit will be attending the training as well.
