Application for extension

All applications for extension have to be approved by the Head of Department. Please complete the form found here to submit your application including supporting documentation. Please remember that applications for extension will only be considered on medical or compassionate grounds. Workload is not a valid reason for application for an extension.

Attending your tutorial

To ensure an optimal learning environment in your course tutorial programme please note that

• All students are required to attend the tutorial group for which you signed up.
• If you are unable to attend your designated tutorial group in any particular week on medical or compassionate grounds then you may submit an extension request form to request that your coursework submission is marked.
• You will be informed of the outcome of your application via email.
• If you attend a tutorial group other than the one you signed up for without either making application to do so or after your application to do so is refused your written assignment will automatically be graded zero (‘0’) and count only for DP purposes.
