As a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) fellow and language assistant at the University of Cape Town, I teach German as a Foreign Language. My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Intercultural Education, Migration, and Multilingualism, as well as additional training in German as a Second Language.
German as a Foreign and Second Language has accompanied my academic and professional path for many years. My teaching experience includes German as a Foreign Language in diverse settings, particularly with refugees, as well as lecturing on “The Importance of Language in a Migrant Society” within a DaZ (German as a Second Language) certificate programme
 for teachers.
