Mr Siyabonga Tapi

I'm a scholar of African Languages and Literature, holding a BA in isiXhosa, Psychology, and Sociology, and a BA (Hons) in African Languages from the University of Fort Hare. Currently, I'm pursuing my MA in African Languages and Literature at the University of Cape Town. My research explores themes of resistance, identity, and Africanism in isiXhosa poetry, specifically during the 1934-1946 period. I'm passionate about uncovering the rich cultural heritage and literary traditions of Africa, and my work aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the complex historical and social contexts that shaped African literature.
