Description
The course explores a range of key African filmmakers, taking into account the historical, cultural and social contexts that inform their work. Attendance at all classes; punctual submission of written work.
Assessment
Weekly journal entries of 1000 words each 20%; one seminar presentation of 2000 words 10%; two 6000-word essays 35% each.
