The ICA's collection of essays Acts of Transgression: Contemporary Live Art in South Africa, edited by ICA Director Jay Pather & ICA Researcher Catherine Boulle, and published by Wits University Press, has been shortlisted for the 2020 Humanities & Social Sciences (HSS) award for Best Non-Fiction - Edited Volume.

The ICA Live Art Festival 2018 has been shortlisted for the HSS Creative Collections award.

The HSS Awards are granted by the National Institute for the Humanities & Social Sciences (NIHSS), and the awards ceremony takes place in Johannesburg on 12 March.
