Lotanang (Loti) Makoti is an actor, writer and theatre maker in training at the University of Cape Town. His interests are primarily within the forms of physical theatre and storytelling.

ARTIST STATEMENT:

"The fire is the rain" (a look at the Phoenix massacre). The country is on fire... a country in desperate need of reparation. In these extreme situations, our idea of paradise is warped. When the country burns, the people rejoice. But black people still pay the price.
