BITTERSWEET
I am Robyn-Dee Van Neel, a final-year Choreography student. I have been a trained dancer for 15 years. My training started with ballet for technique only, and I then moved on to Hip Hop, African dance and my focus, which is Contemporary dance.
ARTIST STATEMENT:
This screen dance draws on the essence of life, which is bittersweet. In life we don’t just experience sunshine and roses, there are times when we go through thunder and rain – and it is in these different seasons that we learn the lessons that carry us through.
