The Gordon Institute for Performing and Creative Arts (GIPCA) in collaboration with the South African College of Music presents a musical talk on the leading Scottish modernist composer Erik Chisholm. Entitled ‘Chasing a Restless Muse’ this lecture/ recital takes place at the Chisholm Recital Room, SA College of Music on the University of Cape Town’s Lower Campus, Rondebosch at 20h15 on Tuesday 20 July. All are welcome and there is no charge to attend, although donations at the door will be most welcome.

Purser will be accompanied by senior students at the SA College of Music, namely Conroy Scott (baritone) and François Botha, Olga Rademan, Mark Spence and Jessamie Jardim on the piano.

The Chisholm Recital Room is situated at the SA College of Music, on UCT’s Lower Campus, Rondebosch, Cape Town (across the road from the Baxter Theatre).
